Crosia cookie policy

Review this notice against the live hosting, analytics and security setup before public launch. This is the policy for Crosia's supplied application code, not an audit of any extra services the hosting provider may inject.

Essential session cookie

The app uses a cookie named crosia_session for anti-forgery form protection, temporary flash messages and secure private inbox flows. It is a session cookie, marked HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and Secure when served over HTTPS. Without it, important safety and form functions will not work. It is not used for advertising.

Browser-only test post

The optional test-post feature stores the preview's text, category, general place and (if selected) a resized picture in your browser's sessionStorage. It is not uploaded, visible to others, or published. You can remove it from the Community Feed using Remove demo or close the tab to clear it in normal browser behaviour. Some browsers may restore a session after a restart.

Cookie information panel

Dismissing the small informational notice is remembered for the current browser tab only. It is not consent to tracking or marketing cookies. This build has no embedded advertising pixels or analytics SDK.

Optional third-party verification

When the administrator enables Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam, its security script is loaded on forms and may use device signals or browser storage under Cloudflare's own notice. Do not activate non-essential analytics or advertising technology without updating these disclosures and implementing any legally required choices.

How to manage storage

You can block or delete cookies and site data using your browser settings. Blocking the essential session cookie may prevent posting, replying or opening a private inbox. To remove a temporary test post, use the Community Feed.
